Your instructor, Caroline will guide you step by step through traditional pinching and coiling techniques while you shape a classic matcha bowl (chawan) featuring a wide, smooth basin designed specifically for whisking tea to a rich froth. Complementing your bowl, you'll sculpt a matching whisk holder, a small, contoured stand that helps preserve the shape and longevity of your bamboo whisk. Throughout the session, you'll explore surface texturing, lip shaping, and custom underglaze selection, ultimately creating a unique, functional set to elevate your daily tea ritual.
