Wheel - Every Sat & Sun 1-4PM
Handbuilding - Every Tuesday 6-9PM & Sunday 1-4PM
Have you taken classes with us or somewhere else? Can you work independently?
Join us for Independent Studio, 3 hours of open studio time at our RiNo location. It is uninstructed time where you can explore, practice, and keep pieces you make!
There's a drop-in fee and tools, clay, glazes, AND firing are included!
Please note that this is not a "try it" session. This is for those who already have experience or are in current classes with us. This is also not a place to teach someone else. Think of it like study hall for pottery.

About your teacher
Jesse, a Connecticut native, studied ceramics at University of Colorado Boulder. Jesse's artistic journey has been defined by his pursuit of challenging preconceived notions about functionality, bridging the gap between pottery and artistic expression.
Classes are non-refundable 1 week before the first class begins. We cannot give full or partial refunds for classes missed.
Pieces are usually ready to be picked up 4 weeks after the final class. While there are no guarantees in ceramics, most students do end up with 2 or more pieces at the end of the course.
Please see our FAQ for general questions about our studio and classes.
Unfortunately, we are limited by the number of wheels we physically have. Our classes fill quickly and we don't have the ability to change once the class roster has been filled. Email us right away and we can give you a refund (minus service fee): info@communityclaydenver.com
If you know you're going to miss one week, we can occasionally switch you to another class at the same level, but it is not guaranteed. You may also make up time (uninstructed) in Independent Studio. That said, don't sign up for a beginner class if you're going to be missing the first or final week!
The first week is important to understanding how the studio works and (in the case of the beginner courses) learning how to throw. The final week is for glazing, and without glaze your pieces will not be completed.
If you are new to our studio and can't be present for the first class, you must take a private lesson before the second class at a cost of $100 or you will be withdrawn with no refund. Email us to take advantage of this: info@communityclaydenver.com
Within a week of the class start date, we can no longer offer any refunds or changes. Very occasionally, we can switch you to a different class, though it is not common or guaranteed.
The only make up time offered is uninstructed Independent Studio, which is free when you've missed a class.
