Pottery Classes in Denver
There are so many ways to take pottery classes at Community Clay! We offer 6 Week Group Classes on the wheel and handbuilding, Independent Studio, an open studio option once you've taken classes, One-time Private Wheel Lessons for 1 or 2 (great for date nights or to improve skills), One-time Private Group Lessons for groups of 3 or more (in RiNo), and Try It Nights for a low commitment evening on the wheel.
6 Week Pottery Classes
Our Beginner Wheel throwing classes teach the basics of centering, opening, pulling walls, trimming, surface decoration, and glazing!
Handbuilding, which includes slab building, coiling, and pinching, is a traditional method of creating with clay in which you use your hands and clay (flat, in round strips, or in a ball) instead of a potter's wheel.
In Continuing Wheel, classes build on your knowledge and cover things like throwing larger, making more complex shapes, and advanced surface decoration.
Independent Studio
Looking for pottery open studio in Denver where you can simply show up and make? Independent Studio is our drop-in studio time for people who don’t need a class. You've taken pottery before (with us or elsewhere) and you want a well-equipped space to practice. Think study hall for clay.
ALL INCLUSIVE!
